Gould Ecology is an independent partnership run by Nicky Gould CEnv MIEEM BSc and Richard Gould MA BSc. We are committed to offering a high quality service and believe we offer excellent value for money.

Gould Ecology are experienced in managing all ecological aspects of projects and specialise in amphibian and reptile survey and mitigation, habitat enhancement and design.

We have been operating since 2004 and are committed to the principles of sustainable development and environmental conservation.

Nicky Gould CEnv MIEEM BSc(Hons)
Nicky (nee Richardson) is the principal consultant of Gould Ecology. She is a chartered member of the Society for the Environment and a full member of the Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (IEEM). 
She has extensive, up to date training in ecological survey techniques and mitigation guidelines and is experienced with all aspects of work involving protected and notable British species.

Nicky has over ten years experience in ecological consultancy and has worked as a senior consultant for several large companies prior to founding Gould Ecology.

In addition, Nicky has worked as a freelance consultant in pond creation and wildlife gardening since 1998. 


Richard Gould MA BSc(Hons)

Richard
has over seven years experience in ecological survey and habitat management; specialising in mammal and herpetofauna surveys, Extended Phase 1 Habitat Survey, woodland NVC and woodland management.

Richard oversees the implementation of operations and business management for the partnership.

In addition to working for Gould Ecology, Richard delivers environmental education and outdoor learning projects, click here for a link to the website.

Nicky and Richard have strong links with specialist environmental consultants and statutory and non-statutory bodies throughout the country.
They are  members of the Bat Conservation Trust, Amphibian and Reptile Conservation, The Somerset Wildlife Trust and the Mammal Society.
